This is an update of the "Black Series Close Combat 180" offering an ergonomically dynamic SeaGuide® XSS reel seat shape designed for greater sensitivity. The entire rod is lighter in weight, and now the black EVA handle section is covered with a shrink tube. It feels especially comfortable, does not slip, and is easy to clean. This rod is ideal for vertical fishing from a boat or even a belly boat, extremely sensitive, perfectly balanced, and beautifully designed. It has enough power to stop a big catfish and control it.
